PROJECT ACTIVITIES

VETBUS seeks to establish a local VET-business alliance to better match WLB VET learning programmes with the professional skills required by the manufacturing sector of the Marche Region.
Preparing the VETBUS Regional Alliance
  • 3 study visits in Germany to foster knowledge transfer and to learn from dualVET well-established models

  • Signature of a Memorandum of Understanding establishing the VETBUS Alliance 

  • ECVET operative toolkit for more attractive and qualified VET curricula (according EQF/ECVET)

WBL Pilot Experience for the “Mechanical Operator” Profile

 

  • VETBUS Alliance will carry out a small-scale pilot action by designing/adapting VET training material (T5.1)

  • implementing (T5.2), evaluating (T5.3) and

  • validating the competences (T5.4) acquired by 20 apprentices attending a specific professional qualification path

Matching Business company needs with VET professional skills

 

  • VETBUS  working groups (T4.2) for the designing of personalised WBL paths applied to a pilot professional

  • Skills need assessment (T4.1) carried out in 100 manufacturing regional companies

  • Vademecum on how to actively involve training companies in the elaboration of such WBL paths (T4.3)

Communication and Dissemination activities 

 

  • Networking cafè as peer-to-peer network building process (T6.4) for regional VET operators and forin-company trainers external to the project partnership to directly follow up the VETBUS Alliance cooperation methodology and to create new VET-Business cooperation opportunities

  • Flash sessions as local awareness raising campaign (T6.5) in VET schools to catch the interest of young students in relation to the personalised WBL path for apprentices and to the educational and working benefits raising from WBL experiences
